Occupational Therapy

Occupational Therapy (OT) helps people who struggle to do everyday tasks because of poor motor skills. For children, that includes tasks that are part of learning and functioning well at school. Social Work/Psychotherapy

Social Workers (SW) and Psychotherapists (RP) work with children and their families to address Mental Health challenges, which include stress, anxiety, ADHD, and OCD. Our therapists use a variety of methods and strategies for treatment, including talk therapy and CBT.

Through the utilization principles of Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) in combination with positive psychology, a well-developed behavioural plan is designed to promote behavioural change long-term, giving individuals and families an increased quality of life, positive social interactions, and overall well-being.

Erika is a Communicative Disorders Assistant at LSCTS, under the supervision of a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP). She is passionate about helping clients to communicate in the way that works best for them and their families.

Erika has experience providing treatment under the supervision of an SLP in a pediatric speech clinic. She also has worked with children for several years in many other settings, such as at day camps, birthday parties, and pre-schools. Above all else, her experience has taught her the importance of getting to know children and their families to help provide the best care possible.
